1. What This Covers

This policy covers this website and its tools (including Invoice Generator, Userbar Generator, Collab Planner, Creator Templates, Guestbook, and Creative Recommendations).

It does not cover other websites or services you visit through links from this site.

2. What Information We Use

Information you enter

Guestbook: your name, email, and message.
Creator/Creative nomination form: the nominee's details, plus your name and email so we can follow up about the nomination.
Newsletter: your email if you sign up.
Collab Planner (shared sessions): the display name, time zone, and availability you enter, and an optional session PIN you choose.

Tool-related data

Invoice Generator: your invoice form data stays in your browser when creating the PDF. A small request is sent only to enforce daily download limits.
Userbar Generator: a small request is sent to update total download count.
Hit counter and guestbook protection: we use simple checks to reduce spam and repeated abuse.

Basic technical data

Like most websites, normal request details (for example IP address, browser type, page path, and time) may be processed by hosting, CDN, and security services to run and protect the site.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, or other cross-site trackers.

Fonts and assets

Fonts and visual assets are served from this site itself, not from third-party font CDNs, so loading a page does not share your IP address with an outside font provider.

Cookies and browser storage

Some features use cookies or browser storage to keep things working (for example nostalgia mode state, music player state, and hit-counter display continuity). On the Collab Planner, your draft name, time zone, availability, and session tokens are stored in your browser.

Run the website and tools.
Protect the site from spam and abuse.
Apply usage limits fairly.
Review and publish guestbook entries.
Send newsletter emails if you subscribed.

4. Who We Share It With

We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.

We may share necessary data with trusted services that help run the site (such as hosting, delivery, security, and newsletter tools), or when required by law.

5. Third-Party Links and Services

If you click links to other sites or use third-party content, those services follow their own privacy rules, not this policy.

6. Cookies and Similar Tools

This site uses cookies and browser storage for core functions, basic security, and better user experience.

Session cookie (maiko_visitor_session): basic visit/session continuity. HttpOnly, Secure on HTTPS, SameSite=Lax.
Collab Planner PIN cookie: set only if you create or join a shared session with a PIN, so you don't have to re-enter it.
Browser storage: preferences and temporary UI state, plus Collab Planner drafts and session tokens, kept in your browser.

We do not set analytics or advertising cookies.

7. How Long Data Is Kept

We keep data only as long as needed to run the site, moderate content, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Guestbook entries and creator nominations (including any name or email you submit) are kept until we remove them or you ask us to delete them — they do not expire automatically.
Collab Planner shared sessions delete automatically about 48 hours after the session ends, with cleanup within roughly 14 days.
Anti-spam and rate-limit data is temporary (minutes up to about 24 hours).

You can ask us to delete your guestbook entry, nomination, or other personal data at any time (see Contact).

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect data, but no website can guarantee perfect security.

9. Your Choices

You can ask for access, correction, or deletion of data we hold about you (subject to legal/operational limits).
You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time.
You may have additional rights based on where you live.

10. Children

This site is for a general audience and is not intended for children under 13 to use on their own.

We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and think a child shared personal information through this site, contact us and we will remove it within a reasonable time.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we do, we update the date at the top of this page.
